Booking Terms & Conditions

Cosmos & Holly is a sole trader baby wellness business offering baby massage classes and sessions to parents and carers in the Market Deeping, Deeping St James, Stamford, and wider Peterborough area, run by Harriet-Rose Rutherford-Ellis.

All sessions are designed to be warm, nurturing, and led by your baby's needs. By booking with me you agree to these terms in full.

• If your baby shows signs of distress, discomfort, or no longer wants to be massaged, you must stop immediately and respect their wishes
• Massage should never be continued on a baby who is crying, turning away, or showing other signs of not wanting to continue
• I will guide you on how to read your baby's cues during each session
• A session may be paused or modified at any point to respond to your baby's needs — this is completely normal and encouraged

A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received. Your place is not guaranteed until payment is made.

By completing a booking you confirm that:

• You are the parent or legal guardian of the baby attending
• Your baby is at least 8 weeks old and not yet crawling or walking
• You have completed, or will complete before the first session, the Cosmos & Holly Booking Form — complete it here
• The information provided in the Booking Form is accurate and up to date
• You will notify me of any changes to your baby's health between sessions

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Prices are as advertised at the time of booking. I reserve the right to update prices, but any change will not affect bookings already paid for.

I understand that life with a baby is unpredictable. This policy is in place because class numbers are strictly limited and a confirmed place prevents another family from booking. I strongly recommend checking your diary carefully before booking.

This applies regardless of the reason, including illness, transport difficulties, personal circumstances, or forgetting a session. If your baby is unwell, please do not attend — but please be aware this does not entitle you to a refund. Upon request, I will share that particular week's online class stock recording so you do not miss out on the content.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible and offer one of the following:

• A rescheduled session on an alternative date
• A credit towards a future booking
• A full refund where neither of the above is suitable

I reserve the right to cancel if the minimum number of participants is not met, a venue becomes unavailable, or in circumstances beyond my reasonable control.

Please aim to arrive on time — sessions begin promptly to respect all families. If you arrive late, I will do my best to accommodate you, but I cannot guarantee you will be able to join a session already in progress. No refund or credit will be given for time missed due to late arrival.

Please do not attend if:

• Your baby is unwell, has a temperature, or has been unwell within the previous 24 hours
• Your baby has had an immunisation within the previous 48–72 hours
• Your baby has any new or undiagnosed skin condition, infection, or injury
• You or your baby have a contagious illness

I reserve the right to refuse admission or ask you to leave if I have concerns about the health or safety of your baby, other attendees, or myself. No refund will be given in these circumstances.

You are responsible for your baby's safety at all times during sessions. Baby massage is carried out by you under my guidance — I am an instructor, not a childcare provider.

I ask that all attendees treat fellow parents, carers, and myself with courtesy and respect. I reserve the right to remove any person from a session or refuse future bookings if their behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or threatening.

I may occasionally take photographs during sessions with your prior written consent. Please do not photograph or film other attendees or their babies without their explicit permission.

Cosmos & Holly holds Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance. However:

• You participate in sessions at your own risk
• I am not liable for loss, damage, or injury except where caused directly by my negligence
• I am not responsible for personal belongings brought to sessions
• I cannot guarantee specific outcomes from baby massage, including improvements in sleep, colic, or behaviour
